SPICA at the KCON 2014 Red Carpet

Listen to any SPICA record and one can instantly tell their pipes were inspired by the big divas who came before them. With singles that range from funk-pop ("I Did It," "You Don't Love Me") to EDM ("Tonight") to straight-up R&B ("Painkiller"), we decided to pick Jiwon, Boa, Narae, Bohyung and Juhyun's brains to discover the singers they deem most inspirational. As expected, the gals named powerhouse divas like the "powerful" Pink and "stunning" Beyonce. But who else made the cut? You might interested to hear one member choosing UK acid-jazz band Jamiroquai.

ぼひょん「幼かった時に、ホイットニー・ヒューストンやマライア・キャリーに、すごく影響を受けました。今は、ビヨンセやアリシア・キーズを聴いています」

じゅひょん「私はすべての韓国人歌手がビヨンセのようになりたいと思っていると思います。彼女は、ハイヒールで歌い、素晴らしいパフォーマンスを披露し、ステージを支配する方法を知っています。だからミュージシャンの多くが彼女に心酔しているんだと思います」

 ナレ「私は好きなアーティストがたくさんいるんですけど、今 頭に浮かぶものはジャミロクワイ、ジョン・レノンです」
